OUR SCHOOL: Our small boutique school houses a professional recording studio with several rehearsal rooms for our students to collaborate and write together. These studios are all set and ready as tracking rooms also when it comes to the time to record. We also have a class room for lectures and labs & the Showcase room for in house shows, performance practice and live music workshops.
OUR STUDIO: We’ve been making & recording musicians here in SLO since 2003. There’s nothing more exciting to us than great music being made on our turf. At this point, Diploma students can hire the studio with an engineer for an hourly rate. However the studio is not open to the public for hire.
However if you are looking to work with a professional Producer, you may be able to Producer Darren Clarke to masterfully produce your record or EP (Founder & Director of MMA). He takes on a handful of projects each year. Darren has served as a Studio consultant to Jon Anderson of ‘Yes’, has recently been working with legendary LA Producer Reggie Fisher, and is frequently hired to produce Music for companies and websites etc. You can hear a sample of some of his custom music here – a recent profect with SLOtheStigma.org
